Review on Canon 50Mm Compact Macro Lens by Emily Myers

Overall it will improve my photography. My main focus is on bridal jewelry and close-ups of a newborn's legs, arms, ears, nose etc. I played around with it after getting it last night and as many have mentioned the autofocus was very noisy and felt clunky. . I switched to manual focus and had better success without being distracted by noisy autofocus. Overall, the lens feels "rougher around the edges" than I'm used to, but I was still able to get some great shots. It will work fine until I can afford a better macro lens! Great deal for the price.
