Review on Edifier R1280T Active Bookshelf Speakers - 2.0 Stereo Near Field Monitors - Wooden Enclosure - 42 Watts RMS - Ideal for Studio Monitoring by Keisuke Uemura ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I have been planning to buy a class D amplifier for a long time. As a programmer and a person stuck in numbers, I know for sure that PWM is the most advanced and correct way to amplify sound. The speakers are smaller than I expected, they sound great and look great. The TAS5713 amplifier can do even more, for it this load is very light. There is not even a drop of overload in the sound. Compare with any multimedia speakers of the old releases - wheezing starts there from half the power. There is none of that here. An overload margin is also provided by a switching power supply. I rummage around in radio engineering, dismantled the speakers, examined the circuits and will tell you that the structure of this power supply is higher in quality than computer power supplies. I've been using for several weeks. Very satisfied. Of course, optics would still

Pros
  • Enclosure size, shape and finish Soft pleasant sound Just hit the volume with an undistorted signal digital amp Impulse in nutrition Spinners on the side 2 pairs of input terminals Standard Output Connectors
Cons
  • So far so good. Hope the speakers last a long time.
