I was a little concerned when the YouTube review said they produce a warmer sound because I already have a warm voice and it varies setting gets muddy at times, and also because it's a USB condenser mic. When I tested 3-4 songs they came out clean. Not really warmer, but I did notice a very slight warming <1kHz. But again, my Setup is a laptop on my lap and a mic 6" away in the car. Sometimes I get intermittent hum (and lots of lag) while recording, but that can simply be because the cable is snagging somewhere. This setting only works because this mic doesn't pick up much noise from the back or the side so I can't hear room (car) and outside noises until I hit the gain If you don't anst permanent studio set up, this might be for you.
