I bought this fun thing to make Christmas decorations with my kids' fingerprints in the center (to make a heart). They came out so beautiful! And my 5 year old helped me from start to finish. he loved it! He even took out some plasticine clippings and made his own. The putty is a bit harsh at first, but after 1-2 minutes of kneading it was very easy to work with. The more you play with it, the lighter and more flexible it becomes. In the images above I also used letter stamps, gold glitter paint and finished the designs with clear coat because I wanted a more finished project with glitter. You don't need a clear coat. Anyway, it looks great. I absolutely recommend this product, even with children! I was even able to get my one year old's fingerprints on the clay. not difficult at all.
