This is a very sticky, sticky clay that is good for molding. However; It sticks to your hands and I would recommend that you put it in the freezer to add finer detail as it removes the stickiness of the clay. I've found this to make tools easier to use as it won't stick to tools (or your hands, but don't work with your hands for too long) once it freezes. Ideal for beginners without worrying about wasting expensive and quality materials. However, this material is still of very good quality. It is smooth and easy to work with. I suggest working in a cool room or on a ceramic surface to keep the clay cool. As your hands warm it up, it will become a lot softer and potentially more difficult to work with, depending on what you're doing. Update: - works well for making stamps and twigs - works better when baking pottery in an oven safe pan. I put the cornstarch on top of the bowl to keep it from sticking.
