Ideal for beginners without worrying about wasting expensive and quality materials. However, this material is still of very good quality. It is smooth and easy to work with. I suggest working in a cool room or on a ceramic surface to keep the clay cool. As your hands warm it up, it will become a lot softer and potentially more difficult to work with, depending on what you're doing. Of course, this can also come in handy if you're looking for a softer tone :) A few quick notes: 1.) I bake mine at 230Β°F for an hour, not 275Β°F as the package says. I believe, that baking at a lower temperature for a longer period of time gives a firmer end result after it has cooled completely.2. ) All thin pieces will be a little flexible. Things like bracelets, rings, or anything else that is thin probably needs inner support. Possibly wire. This is not a product issue, just a material limitation. Other brands are a bit more durable, but thin parts generally have this side effect.
