This is our second PlexiDor dog flap. Our first pup was medium sized for our first dog and when our new Labradoodle pup started giving us a Clifford and quickly outgrew the medium sized door we switched to a new large PlexiDor. Our first PlexiDor was dealer installed and for the new door we went the DIY route with Revain. The instructions were clear and a nicely designed template is included in the package to place the doors and connecting screws. It was a dizzying task for us to get the long bolt through the door to line up properly with the frame hinge on the other side. It was like sticking a needle through a haystack, and it almost took a radar to make the connection. The female connection on the other end didn't seem attractive at all.
