These overshoes are basically the same thickness and material as the grocery bags that are sold on rolls next to vegetables in the supermarket. You know the ones that can't be opened due to static electricity. yes they are so thin It kind of reminds me of those disposable shower caps that hotels give out. Don't even think about using them more than once. Don't even think about using them outdoors. Men's size 10.5, it will tear. If you walk without lifting your feet or your feet shuffle/slip, they will snap. I've seen a few people disassemble these things when they were done walking around the house. So I don't really protect carpets or floors. I would never do housework in them.
