These are good nail clippers. They clip their nails and the handles don't bend when clipped. That's all I ask. Toenail clippers have curved jaws. It doesn't bother me, but maybe others do. The enamel on the handle did not chip even with light scratches. Also, enamel slightly improves adhesion to the surface. The only drawback is that no nail file is included. My other clippers have a small fold out nail file. This little file comes in handy for those of us who like to smooth out random edges but don't file to shape our nails. The kink in the clipper's body looks aesthetic (which I don't feel like doing). In terms of size, these machines are slightly larger than my others. This means better cutting action but more difficult to pack. when that little extra space is important.
