I loved the simplicity of this device. Set the cup down and it stays warm. No dials. The downside of not having dials is that the coffee gets too hot for my liking when the cup is less than half full. Not a big deal, but it just means I tend to take the warmer off when the coffee level is low. It worked. great for a month or so and since then my warm coffee has been accompanied by a slight electrical burn smell and now you can see in the picture the damper on the stove is melting. I would not recommend this given the short lifespan and potential danger of melting.
