This works very well for a car. It sucks very well and is easy to use. My wife is very picky, she is a clean freak and uses it a lot and loves it. Cleaning the filter is a very simple task. Would definitely recommend if you vacuum your car and don't want to pull out your main vacuum. I would say the most impressive aspect of this purchase is that after over a year of regular use my wife who is very picky has NOT managed to damage it after long time frequent use. That speaks volumes about the quality of the cleaner.
