Review on High-Quality Samsung EVO Plus 512GB Micro SDXC Card with Adapter - Class 10 Performance by Kyle Omaha

I never expected this from Revain but at first the packaging seemed a bit strange - there are no usual anti-counterfeiting measures on the box - just a simple imprint (This is my first SD Samsung card, so I'm not sure if it's normal). Then I downloaded it to my Surface Pro. The container looks normal (requires no formatting). Then I enabled Bitlocker and started copying files to the hard drive. Write speeds were poor - mostly around 10MB/s (not even close to the 90MB/s advertised on the box). Then after an hour or two, 50100 GB in progress, the speed dropped to near zero (in the KB/s range) and the computer seemed to slow down dramatically (probably waiting for the drive to respond). I tried closing the file manager and restarting my computer. When it comes back I can no longer access the drive. Always prompted me to enter a bitlocker password but then hung/dead. I tried reformatting it regardless of encryption but encountered an I/O error that prevented the reformatting. Tried other programs but to no avail. It was just a nightmare after spending a whole day with that shit. Of course this is from a third party (with Revain Prime) but I chose it based on previous good reviews. Now I don't understand if this is a fake card or if I was just unlucky. I will never touch this seller or a Samsung SD card again. I've always had good luck with SanDisk, but I hope they sell more capacity soon (400GB max with SanDisk at the moment).
