Review on Proraso Refresh Shaving Soap Bowl - 5.2 Oz by Jasmine Davis

I bought this shaving cream thinking it was her compliment to the green menthol and eucalyptus aftershave which is my favorite aftershave but it doesn't smell like it at all. To be honest I use Saponificio Varesino and Cella shaving creams exclusively after 40 years of shaving and I don't use anything else as I think (except for a few others that are hard to come by in the US) they are one of the best shaving creams are . I've decided to try Proraso for a change though, as I've been seeing it in more and more stores lately. The smell of it is not at all attractive and reminds me of "waxy", not refreshing at all, and afterwards the residue on the skin is completely undesirable. I had to wash my face again after shaving which is unacceptable. The resulting lather was good, but I didn't get my usual close shave. After 3 shaves it went in the trash. I'm not sure if it was a bad batch or if it was made on purpose, but I won't be buying it again. There are much better shaving creams out there.
