This foam pad is not dense foam - it's just foam. It works, but it doesn't. It will hold up just as well as the Kaizen foam I've ordered in the past.It probably won't hold up as well as a seat cushion either because it's so soft.I've found that soft foam breaks down really quickly when needle felting and I end up with pieces of gray foam in a clump (even kaizen foam eventually does this, but it takes much longer to break down).
