Works fine for my purposes.

I use this foam to line aluminum camera bodies for custom accessories for my telescope. With the help of a sharp long office knife, I can easily cut out the shapes I need. This is the ideal depth for standard cases. For this purpose I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Protects felting needles from breaking
Cons
  • Not sure

Squishy Foam

This foam pad is not dense foam - it's just foam. It works, but it doesn't. It will hold up just as well as the Kaizen foam I've ordered in the past.It probably won't hold up as well as a seat cushion either because it's so soft.I've found that soft foam breaks down really quickly when needle felting and I end up with pieces of gray foam in a clump (even kaizen foam eventually does this, but it takes much longer to break down).

Pros
  • Size: 2"(H) x 18"(W) x 24"(D) Flat Panel
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Ideal for personal use

I used this foam and tool box to create a low humidity box to store my camera. After spending several hundred dollars to fix a lens that had developed fungus, I am now trying to control lens moisture. I have a container-style refrigerator that controls temperature and humidity, but it's too small to hold all of my gear. I really don't have room for another one (and didn't want to spend money) so I built one from this foam, tool kit and desiccant packets.

Pros
  • Color: dark gray
Cons
  • Slightly torn
