Arrived well packaged as expected. I have a fairly standard but wide foot size 9.5 US. Clarks have always been comfortable and fit for me before. I had a width of 9.5 and although the left boot was tight, I could barely put the right boot on because the hole in the boot was too small. Even with the elastic in the collar under the tongue, it was difficult to put on the right shoes. The shoes rubbed quite a bit on the top of my foot about two inches from my ankle, leaving a red stain. Once the shoes were on it was bearable and I could feel the shoes stretch and become more comfortable. It was right and I will keep the shoes. If I was the slim size I used to wear at Clark, I wouldn't be able to wear it. Although the shoes have stretched a bit, the right shoe is still tighter than the left. but leaves no traces on the foot.
