I tested some time lapse videos both outside and inside. They are very high quality and fairly easy to set up. I put an asterisk because once you start recording there is nothing you can do on the camera until you stop recording. You can't even tell if it's working unless you watch it long enough to see the LED flash when it's actively taking photos. As soon as you stop, the camera will automatically convert the images to AVI slow-motion videos, after which you can control the camera again. The mount is very nice and appears to be waterproof. I screwed it into a deck overlooking my 2 month pool project. The wide-angle lens is ideal for working with a large field of view. Mine had plastic aberration right in the lens area, but a couple of test videos showed it wasn't visible in the photos. The lens window in the waterproof case is made of plastic, so be careful! If you are very careful you can take the camera out of its case, reset the video, change the batteries and put it back in the same position. You have to be very careful as it will move if you don't. Also, this kit includes a 32GB card, not 16GB as in the photo. A good thing, but I bought a 32GB card with it not knowing I didn't need it.
