I've always wanted to open the socket since I have a new phone I might try. Well I got it in the mail along with the otter case, I cleaned the surface and put the pop jack in the middle of the case. I made sure to fasten it there securely. I'm not sure if I had a defect or not, but the glue wasn't very strong. I ended up super gluing it to hold it, I know it's silly because I have this circle of glue on my case now, but I ended up removing the pop socket because the image washed out pretty well after about 2 months of use was. . Unfortunately it wasn't the best experience.
