Review on Bush Furniture Cabot Corner Linen Furniture for Home Office Furniture by Wendy Amorina

I originally wanted a Pottery Barn themed white farmhouse themed corner desk (over $1,300 excluding shipping). My husband found this one and ordered it (and a 2 drawer filing cabinet) without telling me. I wasn't thrilled but figured I'd at least wait for it to arrive. The boxes all arrived the same day and I was pleasantly surprised at how great the reclaimed pine looked, well, REALLY. We put it together and literally only needed a screwdriver and a small hammer for some dowels. The entire process was completed in less than 90 minutes and I was delighted with the end result! Desk space is great for my monitor, laptop, and a few accessories, and I keep frequently used files in a document drawer. While I wish it had a small built-in drawer as well, it's otherwise the perfect size. A 2 drawer filing cabinet (not pictured in my review) fits perfectly and holds a decent amount of files/binders. The only upgrades I will be making are black drawers (to match my office decor), a new rustic office chair and lamp, and maybe a bookshelf to match. To be honest I can't believe how happy I am with my new device. As with many DIY furniture options, just take the time to read the instructions, separate the pieces, and set them up on a soft (carpeted) surface.
