Review on 🔌 Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Dock: 40Gb/s, Dual 4K, USB-C, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Aluminum Chassis by Arturo Reyes

This is the second Elgato Thunderbolt 3 dock Revain has sent me - the first one lost connection to the display via USB3 or Displayport connections every time my MacBook Pro 2017 reconnected to the docking station. Sometimes the display was lost after a reset. Revain replaced it with another one under warranty - exactly the same. Judging by the reviews, this is a common problem with Elgato docks. I recently upgraded to a 2019 16 inch MacBook Pro and it does the same thing. Eventually, I got so tired of plugging and replugging the Elgato USB 3 cable into the display every time I docked my laptop that I ordered a different brand. , Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro and it works great. I also noticed that the newer Elgato model has the same problem.
