Amazing laptop! Lightweight, long battery life, great sound and great display!

After spending a few days researching dozens of laptops, I decided on this HP Pavilion 13 i3 to replace the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. After using it for about a week I am very happy with my choice. At first I decided to buy refurbished and was a bit concerned about the condition of the item. I was pleasantly surprised and would classify the condition as new. The only downside was a tiny dimple on the top of the laptop lid. Contrary to some of the reviews on this item, I didn't notice poor audio performance, battery life, or speed. The battery lasts much longer than the MacBook Pro and the sound quality is impressive. It's so loud that the volume is set at around 58% most of the time. It's clad in aluminum on the deck and keyboard and has plenty of ports. It also has a card reader and a biometric fingerprint reader that work just as well as the MacBook's Touch Bar. The screen and picture quality are amazing for the price and the speed is just as fast as a Mac. The keyboard is very responsive and I prefer it over a Mac. It doesn't have a backlight as some reviews say, but I'm fine with that and the extra battery life is more than a fair deal. Another thing I love about this computer is that the hinge is designed so that when the laptop is opened it tilts the keyboard at a 20 degree angle which makes typing more comfortable. Another feature of this laptop that sets it apart from others is its weight, it comes in at 2.8 pounds! So light yet very durable and the battery life of 10-11 hours is impressive! It comes with a free 30-day trial of Office 360, but since the operating system is Microsoft's home operating system, you can easily download an older version of Office. The only downside of this powerful laptop is the 128GB storage, which is quite small but can be upgraded. If you're a student (or professor), this laptop does an excellent job and even has a decent microphone and zoom camera. For $400 there is nothing that even remotely compares to this computer, even in the $600-$800 range! I can only recommend this notebook and am very satisfied with it!
