Review on πŸ“· Nikon D5300 24.2 MP CMOS DSLR Camera with Wi-Fi and GPS (Black) - Body Only by Julie Lee

Possibly the best consumer DSLR on a budget

Can't beat the price without upgrading to an FX sensor. The pop-up screen is a truly unique feature that allows you to shoot from any angle or angle you dream of. The inclusion of Wi-Fi and GPS is also incredible. The camera creates its own hotspot that you can sync with your phone to take pictures/videos from it. The 24 MP DX sensor is more than enough. It can shoot up to ISO 2000 at night before I can see the graininess. Night shots are more than possible. This is funny. The inclusion of a dedicated record button next to the shutter button is also a unique and impressive feature. All in all, this camera works around the 3000 series and is almost comparable to the (ex-true) models of the 7000. It may have slightly fewer focus points than the 7000, but it's the same sensor. I chose it over the 7000 series because the opening screen is such an incredible feature. As someone who has filmed photography in the past, being able to look 'at the camera' or close the screen inside the body (by removing all digital displays) while recording is ideal. This is a reliable DX DSLR that deserves attention from amateurs and professionals alike.
