A-Tech memory modules did not come new and with damaged contacts. When I properly installed them on my laptop, the system refused to boot and beeped. My laptop is a mobile workstation and supports up to 32GB of 1600MHz DDR3 SODIMM memory in quad channel mode. After removing the A-Tech memory modules and using standard RAM; my computer will publish. I'm pretty sure those A-Tech memory modules damaged my computer's RAM slots and caused a short circuit. I am completely outraged; will send them back immediately. FYI, I have a Computer Management degree with over 10 years of experience; and I know how to properly install RAM modules.
