Review on 🏻 Streamline Your Kayak Storage with the Malone Auto Racks SlingThree Triple System by Don Acevedo

Almost perfect for sports

I had a different version of a three-story kayak stacker. It had plastic buckles that deteriorated over time. He had heavier carriers. I chose this version because all the hardware is all metal, including the carabiners and the metal rings they attach to. Overall, this design seems pretty solid. My kayaks are kept in the garage so that the straps are not constantly exposed to the sun. As mentioned, high ceiling is needed to hang 3 kayaks. It's not a design issue with this product, it's just a matter of size. There is a small problem with the design of the connectors. To secure the top of the kayak, you have to reach very high on the carabiner. I'm 6ft 3" tall and when storing the kayak on the top level I had to support the kayak with my left hand and reach as high as my right arm would reach to lift the carabiner to the top metal ring. If I was even 1 inch shorter I don't think I could make it. The design could be improved if the short strap on the top of each kayak support loop was a bit longer, especially the short strap on the top kayak support loop. I will check the straps for sun damage over time. On my last kayak strap retention system, the plastic buckles that got some sunlight with the garage door open failed. The buckles that were further back in the garage didn't fail at the same time that all 3 other buckles broke. This time, a red strap is randomly exposed to sunlight.
