This watercolor easel is REALLY lightweight!
This one is VERY light. I've tested four types over the past few years and this is by far the simplest. Everyone who picks it up is surprised. So far it's been solid enough for my watercolor needs, a 9x12 pad plus a small palette and water container, and I use it standing. I warn my watercolorist friends who admire this that you should press the screws that control the angle and glide of the arm LIGHTER rather than open because I suspect it bends easily because it's so light and you then get into trouble. but i love it
