They really beautified the pictures on the product page, it doesn't look that smooth in real life. A bit of a queasy feeling. We opened it straight away and there are zero instructions. It's not very difficult to understand, but there are some things that need guidance. Basically the table base unfolds and then there are two rod ends that you flip over to create a structure for the table top to mount on. However, they don't seem to fully engage and could theoretically detach. The table top unfolds and snaps into place. It's very light, which is both good and bad. If it's not level, this thing is likely to fall off a bit easily, and you definitely can't use this table for anything that requires a solid base. At best, it's a side table that can be used for snacks, light dinners, or games. At nearly $46, I believe the audience is primarily camping and looking for a convenient mode of transportation in an area that doesn't have a picnic table.
