I spent almost half an hour trying to remove four mats of plastic fasteners using my fingers and various tools. I'm the eldest, so you can be a lot stronger than me, but getting the rugs off the orange hanger was a hassle. There are no instructions on how to do this. Tip: Start spinning the crescent moon and use gloves to avoid pinching your fingers. Or use pliers.
