I have several of these and buy XXL. I'm 5-10.5, 220 and waist 36. I usually wear XL shirts and they are loose which I like. I have to take the XXL in Never Tuck It because it's skin tight. Size XXL is perfect for me to wear and is a bit loose. Golf shirts shrink with the wash, so if they're a little looser than you'd like, they'll be in good condition after a single wash.
