The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

I confirm that you can put non-original memory. I currently have a Crucial [CT16G4SFRA266] 16 GB SODIMM. Acquired in Amazon. Everything works perfectly. Don't repeat my mistake. It will not "eat" more than 16 GB. Tried to put on 32 GB - "did not start". It also costs while one Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB M.2 MZ-V7S500BW. In the future, I want to put the second one the same. Because for a full-fledged cache for reading and writing, the same pair is needed. For me now it works only for reading.

Pros

Excellent NAS from the inexpensive segment one of the best machines. This is my third device from this manufacturer. There were DS413j, DS415Play. I am satisfied with the purchase.
