Review on Cuisinart DCC 4000 Coffee Maker Black by Ashley Leatham

Based on other reviews I had high hopes for this coffee machine. After carefully unwrapping many packages and discovering this beauty with quiet anticipation, I was not disappointed with her charming modern looks. The next step was to follow the manufacturer's directions to ensure my first drink was decent. After patiently waiting for the preparation of the carbon filter and repeating two "sample" broth to thoroughly clean the machine. I made my first 2 cups of coffee on the bold setting. Delicious! I've had this device for a little over a week and have used a pre-programmed function to ensure a fresh batch of Java is ready every morning. That was one of the reasons I bought it and it's nice to wake up to the aroma of coffee. In addition to the carbon filter in the water tank, I use filtered water and #4 brown paper filters. helps with easier cleaning. I'm not particularly interested in the overflow hole on the back of the water tank. If you cook a large batch and are clumsy like me, you can spill water all over your countertops. I would also like this model to come with a large carafe. I know it says 8 cups on it, but that's only enough capacity for six "regular" cups of coffee, which isn't enough when you have guests or pesky teenagers who are too lazy to make their own coffee and a cup to steal when you put them on don't look. Overall I like this gadget and I'm glad I bought it!
