Love it! for aquarium decor

This is my first time growing aquatic plants so I started with a small tank of only 2 1/2 gallons. I did a little research to find the plants I needed for what I was trying to achieve, which was ground covers. I thought I would really like Dwarf Baby Tears but it is a slow growing plant so it can take quite a while to completely cover the bottom even in my small aquarium. When I came across these seeds I decided to give it a try. Now I don't have a green thumb. In fact, I kill non-aquatic plants with amazing efficiency. So I really expected this whole attempt to fail. But those tiny seeds germinated like crazy. As you can see in the photo, the seeds are not evenly distributed, but I'm still very happy with the result. Even the seeds I sow on the lava rock are growing well. The only complaint I have is the lack of seed germination instructions and it has been difficult to find information on growing these plants from seed and beyond on the internet. One thing I was able to find out was that once the seeds have germinated and you have filled the tank, you should let the tank run for two to four weeks before releasing the fish. At the moment I have about 3 1/2 weeks until I can put the fish in, but I'm not a very patient person. Edit: These are not midget baby tears. But they still grow very well and the fish that I keep in my aquarium with this plant also thrive.
