What would be better would be a variation in length. They are all on the longer side so you cannot use them on narrower ties and you need to be careful that the placket is not too wide on medium width ties. To be honest this is what got me most interested and excited, the reason I bought this kit was the blue clip. Even if I shine directly at it, I can hardly tell it should be blue. It is almost indistinguishable from black. The design of the silver definitely stands out a bit, but the blue is very disappointing.
