Nice laptop, just needs a backlit keyboard
As expected, this HP 15-dw1083wm laptop is well built and I was happy to see that they kept "excess software" to a minimum (almost everything went through Microsoft ) . Although the audio is quite loud, I think it's lost some of the bass that my old HP Pavilion 14-AL061NR laptop had. I'm deducting a star for that, plus a few things I should have checked before buying. This model does not have a backlit keyboard. Combine that with a less-than-bold key label and now I have to keep the light behind me while I'm in the living room at night. FYI, other models in the 15-dw family have backlit keyboards, but be careful!
