Easy to install, great value - no touch

Once again, HP delivers a great value laptop. However, there is no touchscreen, and the sound decreases a bit. My previous HP laptop had roughly the same CPU frequency and I was able to boost the audio in the browser. When I try to amplify the sound on this laptop, it gets choppy.

Does everything I need

Definitely good value for money. I haven't had any problems with that. The battery lasts all day and charges at night. I use it mostly for school but also occasionally for Netflix. It's light and thin. I am happy with the purchase. I've had him for about 3 months.

Nice laptop, just needs a backlit keyboard

As expected, this HP 15-dw1083wm laptop is well built and I was happy to see that they kept "excess software" to a minimum (almost everything went through Microsoft ) . Although the audio is quite loud, I think it's lost some of the bass that my old HP Pavilion 14-AL061NR laptop had. I'm deducting a star for that, plus a few things I should have checked before buying. This model does not have a backlit keyboard. Combine that with a less-than-bold key label and now I have to keep the light…

Don't buy this. in Computers and Tablets

A piece of crap updated by the seller. Less than 2 months later the hard drive failed. Spent a day building it. Finally, all the data was transferred and organized, and tomorrow I wanted to create a backup on an external flash drive. Thank you for putting crappy parts in these HP and now we've lost 5 years of our non-commercial data which I could spend a year or more recreating from paper copies.

Good computer on laptops

Bought this computer for my wife who uses it mainly for shopping and social networking. I have had HP computers for many years and they have almost always been good products. This was easy to set up and installed Windows 10 with no problems. My wife got started with it quickly and the computer works well. Just a few questions: First, the number of "apps" from HP and Microsoft can be overwhelming and distracting from normal usage. Anything related to these areas seemed to require more…
