I have 4 herniated discs in my lower back. I couldn't cook dinner without crying. I tried this back brace the first day and it hurt like hell. However, today I removed the removable lumbar triangle and tried again. I'm happy to report that not only was I able to easily cook dinner for my family, but I also emptied the dishwasher AND took out the trash! Now I play cards like a normal person. I got these braces because I was planning a trip to Ireland (the country of my people) in June. I didn't think I could go. Now I believe there is hope. Thanks very much! UPDATE: This back brace saved my butt on vacation. 10 days spent with airports, trains and non-stop walking through Ireland and Scotland. The trick is not to make it too tight (or too loose). Again, I removed the removable lumbar support. I didn't even go through double security at the airport with him. Fiction!
