Just what you need as detailed below.

Prompt delivery. Well packaged to protect the product. High quality. The plastic tools (picks and case dividers) pretty much self destructed removing the broken digitizer. Samsung uses aggressive double-sided tape. The heat gun didn't seem to bother him, so I had to resort to a single-edged razor blade to complete the removal. But the product is not to blame. The longest/hardest part of the process was removing the old digitizer - about 1-1/2 hours. There are several videos on YouTube on how to hack a case and do it. If this is your first time, check out a few of these. There is a small connector for the digitizer ribbon cable that needs to be removed to lift the motherboard. This allows the new connector to be threaded through a slot in the plastic housing of the new digitizer. They have tiny clips that can break if not released. At this point, you have the option of throwing away your Kindle or trying to find a used motherboard online (around $40). The repair is not difficult, just tedious and requires patience. The product's only downside was that it didn't come with enough double-sided tape (half a dozen fingernail-sized squares) to properly attach the screen. I filled it up with the double sided tape I had and that fixed the problem. My granddaughter is very happy that she got her Kindle Fire back. Now she knows not to leave him on the floor where his sister might step on him.
