The camera takes good pictures and the lens quality is excellent. There are two criticisms, however: first, the touchscreen isn't as sensitive and can be annoying to use. You have to press pretty hard for the action to register. Second, switching between camera modes is a little awkward. I was switching from an old camera that had a wheel that was easy to turn to choose the shooting mode. This camera requires a few touchscreen actions to select a mode, which is inconvenient when you want to snap a quick shot. The answer is to always use the automatic mode, but sometimes it takes a few extra seconds to center the view after focusing on a specific illuminated part of the image to automatically select the appropriate mode.
