I recently joined the astronomy club. I can learn more about space, planets, stars and constellations. I've been told that there is no "perfect" telescope, it all depends on my budget and the goals of the observation. The price of this Mesixi kit is lower than many regular beginner kits. Installation was pretty easy with step-by-step photo instructions. The tripod is very durable. It also comes with another mini tripod for the included photo telescope. The lens is covered. Coated lenses offer some protection against scratches and sensitivity to glare. The kit also included optical equipment such as a viewfinder (auxiliary scope), a 25mm eyepiece, a 10mm eyepiece (10mm provides greater magnification), a zenith mirror (used to accurately measure the position of stars) , a planetary multiplier mirror, 3x Burlow lens (increases focal length efficiency for enlarging higher quality images). When I combined all of these gadgets with a 400mm lens barrel, a whole new world opened up for me. I had the choice between a small, clear and bright image at a lower magnification, or a large blurry, dark image at a higher magnification. decrease or increase clarity and overall image quality. With this 400mm lens I was able to observe objects such as the Andromeda core, the Orion Nebula, other large emission or reflection nebulae such as the Pleiades, large star clusters, lunar observations. etc. Bluetooth self-timer, phone clip and photo set are available for photographing astronomical images. There's AstroSolar to protect your eyes while observing the solar system. A high quality monocular is provided free of charge. I can easily pack all the parts in the supplied case and take it with me everywhere. This Mesixi Astronomical Telescope Kit is full of wonderful surprises.
