I'm right at 5'3" and a size 18 in clothing. It's basically a split poncho with a defined neck space. This fits as I hoped it would, the longest part falls right at the back of my knees and the rest drapes comfortably around. If I had to nitpick anything, I would say I wished it had sleeves sewn in, but the way it's cut that's really not necessary. It's thick enough without being heavy or bulky and it's soft!
