This is the perfect replacement for my Samsung dryer. I love the fact that this piece has a metal wheel clip. The original part uses a bushing, not bearings. After only 1-1/2 years the original part was defective. When your dryer just stopped working. No twist or rotation. This is a likely cause as the switch on the motor will trip if the hub fails or the belt breaks. The original part also looks cheap, especially with the triangular plastic clip holding the wheel. My dryer had the bushing stuck and the heat from the dryer/belt rubbing against the wheel melted the wheel and it fell off. The difference in cost between this part and the original Samsung part is about $50. I'm sure this one will last at least 2-3 times longer. Just make sure you use the included screw. And for those looking to replace it, climb in through the vent at the back of the dryer. You really don't need to remove the drum. It can be replaced in 5-10 minutes. There are 2 screws attached to the ventilation panel. pulls straight There is enough space at the back to put 2 hands through. It is recommended to place a small towel over the hole to avoid cutting your hands on the metal when you reach the dryer. There are also a few YouTube videos showing how to do it. super easy.
