Good set but would like more hardware

Overall it's a pretty good set although a bit more hardware would be ideal. There are no instructions, but installation is pretty obvious. Just make sure all the wires are taut before attaching the headlights as you want to put as little stress on the wires as possible when pulling. I used zip ties to secure the lights, but zip ties may work too (none of which are included). cordless impact wrenches for nuts), but they are convenient to have on hand. I didn't use carabiners either, but they would be useful for removing wires without tools. The grommet straps worked great and held strong in both wood and masonry, although I bought concrete screws separately. The kit includes two spreader hooks for use with masonry/concrete but I prefer not to use them. My biggest complaint is the lack of clamping force on the clamps. I've used an 8mm impact tool to tighten them to get enough torque, but there seems to be a fine line between too loose (when the wire loosens due to too much tension on the wire) and too tight (when the impact tool nut too tight). and destroys the clamp), so you have to be careful. If it's too loose and slips out, tighten it again. Doubling up the clamps helps too, but if there's only 16 in the kit you'll only have enough for 4 runs. Turnbuckles are good and long, although I wish there were more. To maximize wire tension and minimize headlight sag I recommend not making lengths longer than 20-30 feet and since each length requires a turnbuckle I would prefer a few more turnbuckles for that amount of wire. This kit only lasts for 3 runs. I ended up using about 150 feet of wire but used 6 turnbuckles (optional sold separately) for my setup. The wire seemed very thin to me, but it's the same 1/16" size as any other kit available here, and in my experience the clips break much sooner than the wire, so don't worry about the strength of the Wire - although thin, it is strong. Time will tell how the weather holds up (wind and rust are my biggest fears). ; All is looking good so far after a week of moderate wind and light rain while maintaining my 144ft coverage. I had to tighten a few runs after a few days due to pinch slippage. be stainless steel, but it is not clear in the listing if the wire itself is stainless steel; I hope and assume so.
