For years my then-fiancé kept his fancy ceramic grill on the carpeted back porch. After redoing the deck and moving the trellis, we found that the carpet was completely ruined. It looked bad. I researched different types of flooring before deciding on this tile. This was the most expensive option (and the cheapest of any other offering on this platform), but it looks a lot better than just remodeling the boat mat. I measured out the space trying to figure out exactly how much I needed and ended up with 18 drawers for a space of about 16 x 12. I didn't expect it to be perfect and it isn't. You can see in one of the photos that we cut off a corner for a better fit. If you really wanted to take your time, you could do it perfectly. As a result, I was left with an extra whole tile and two halves. I assembled everything myself and my husband only had to saw off two corners. The rest of the curves are very good. The color is perfect. We're taller than humans, everyone gives or takes 200 pounds, and walking on it feels rock solid. It's worn a bit since I installed it, but we plan to buff it up when needed. For the ease of installation and the stunning looks I think it was worth the money. I regret nothing. One star deducted due to numerous defects in packaging and shipping.
