Review on humangear capCap for Parents by Bryan Orozco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A worthy successor to the original and a worthy addition to a Nalgene bottle.

I have. Many of them. They make drinking from 1 liter bottles much easier. I take two cups of Nalgene tea to work every day. When I travel, I take one with me to drink. I even drink from it at home because the lid keeps the cat from getting in my drink. I didn't pay much attention when I ordered a few more of these so I was surprised to get the new version. They made everything stronger that I don't need, but maybe if you're stricter with them. I liked that the strap is a bit wider and rounded considering I often throw these things across the strap with my finger. The material on the cap is still rubber but it's a bit stronger than the old ones. With the new model there is a way to hang the cap on the strap as shown in the picture, which fixes it a little better than letting it dangle. I'm used to just grabbing the strap while holding the bottle, so I don't need it, but you might like it. I'm pretty sure it hasn't gotten any better here. I carry nothing stronger than sweet tea in mine, and they wash them every night. Whether you want to take soup, juice, whiskey or the blood of your enemies with you, stop at the original Nalgene lid or switch to a stainless steel container.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing here
