I love love love these things

I love these things. I LOVE HER. I had the old one for about three years before buying two new ones. The lid fully covers the drinking portion, which is important when working outside in healthcare or other places with germs or dirt and sand. They fit the 24oz and 32oz Nalgene and keep me from spilling water on my face and clothes. I also have long flexible silicone straws that I put in for my child to easily drink from. They just buckle into the bottle when I put the cap on; super comfy! The…

Big improvement

This really makes Nalgene bottles what they should be. It gives you the best of both worlds - a narrow mouth that's easier to drink from and a wide mouth that's easy to fill. This lid made drinking easier and seriously helped me form the habit of staying hydrated throughout the day. The narrow cover has a bulge that fits into the ledge on the handle. This keeps the lid on the side while you drink and is a great feature. The handle itself is also sturdy and I carry the bottle by the handle every

Not recommended: Wrong band design.

I was very happy to finally buy this after the release of the new version! Standard Nalgene caps leave a lot to be desired as they are rough in your hands. It provided a nicer way to open my bottle and had a small spout if I wanted it. 3 weeks everything was great. They advertise that you can wear Capcap+ on a strap but I wouldn't recommend that. With the new design they've created a place to put a small cap on the strap, a feature I rarely use and didn't discover until a week after owning it…

Highly recommended for sports and outdoor accessories

Like many people, I drink 32 ounces of Nalgene throughout the day. I have used the Nalgene bottle bottle for a long time because it is much easier to drink from it while driving. The downsides are that it's harder to clean, takes a little longer to fill when camping, and I have to use a funnel to put things like chia seeds in. I saw this hat at LL Bean and was about to buy it but ten were a bit pricey so I didn't. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and buy it from Revain when it was no…

How to fix your Hydroflask, Humangear CapCap and Juglug pen

1. Humangear CapCap Great humangear cap! However, you must purchase the correct spacers to make it work with Hydro Flask. DO NOT use the silicone gaskets that fit your Humangear's lid that other reviewers have mentioned. They don't work well at all. Use the ones that fit the Hydro Flask neck, see the picture. Just tighten the cap of your Humangear. You don't have to over tighten it, it provides a very good seal with good twist. These silicone pads are very easy to use! And don't worry about…

Broken cap. Leaks after a few months.

This is a good cap and a great idea and I liked it for the first few months but in the last few weeks it has started to leak. At first I thought it was because water got into the lid when filling, but I've since ruled that out through extensive testing. No matter what I do, no matter how careful I am when filling and no matter how tightly I screw the cap on, when I go out for a drink, water leaks out of the seal and floods my shirt. Sometimes it's just a few drops and sometimes almost a…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are problems

I have. Many of them. They make drinking from 1 liter bottles much easier. I take two cups of Nalgene tea to work every day. When I travel, I take one with me to drink. I even drink from it at home because the lid keeps the cat from getting in my drink. I didn't pay much attention when I ordered a few more of these so I was surprised to get the new version. They made everything stronger that I don't need, but maybe if you're stricter with them. I liked that the strap is a bit wider and rounded…

The Hydro Flask Cap is the most economical solution

I have had this cap for about 1 month of intensive daily use and have had no complaints so far. Unfortunately I've spent a lot of money looking for the right cap so I'm writing this review so maybe someone else doesn't have to go through this. Here are the caps I tried: Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Flip Lid + Jug Lug for a whopping $10.50. Very poor water flow. This turns a quick sip of water into a labour-intensive job. The jug's tab sits loosely under the lid, so there's still some spillage when…
