Review on 💡 Blue Sea Systems 7238 Double: The Ultimate Power Management Solution by Mark Adams

I ordered this for a custom load center assembly for my 6kW generator. I needed a 30 amp panel mount switch and it seemed to fit. I read the specs on the page and it says they trip in 34 seconds at 40.5 amps (which is typical for thermal magnetic switches). This works for short term control but not for generator protection (I need to trip at 30 amps immediately for this). Apart from the fact that I need the next size down for my purposes this seems to be a very good product. The load and line connections are stainless steel with stainless steel bolts, as are most of the internals. When one side fires, the other fires automatically. It comes with 2 types of panel mount screws. The description could be more meaningful for the actual function. In general a quality product.
