Review on 🐕 BV Pet 60 Feet Dog Trolley: Heavy-Duty Runner Cable for 125 Pound Dogs by Julia Turner

First of all I like that the pulley is metal! It's easy to rust proof with WD-40 and you're done (don't use it on clamps before tightening them lol). The instructions are simple and the installation time was less than 15 minutes. You really need a ladder/stool, an adjustable wrench and some elbow grease. Personally, I didn't find it necessary to cut off the excess wire - just wrap it around the string (or tree, pole, or whatever) before tightening the final clamp. The leash is only 10 feet long, but I found I could just thread it through my dog's retractable leash (reattach it to the reel so it doesn't drag on the grass) and voila! Retractable runner! So I was able to use it with 3 dogs (7lb, 15lb and 35lb) at the same time. The only time they were really confused (despite the spinning ring on the reel) was when they were walking around the tree. The jogger clip is designed for larger dogs, but my 7 pound Pomeranian has run with it once attached to his harness with no problems. I also have a thinner 12ft leash (bought from Walmart) but I've found it easier for him to get tangled in it. Anyway, I prefer to use the loop and retractable leash combination previously described. Takes all that extra weight off him as we walk around the yard and there's no chance of his legs getting tangled! (Photos will be added later.)
