I bought light strips and attached them to the back of my 65 inch flat screen TV and it worked and the light worked great. then one day, while moving the TV, he tore the end of the LED strip to which the plug to the power supply was already attached. I figured I'd have to throw everything away and start over, I was able to find this jumper between the strips and replace the damaged LED strip. The excellent product quality appears to be robust. If I come across the same jam I will definitely buy this product again
