Review on 🔧 Upgraded Threaded Drain Plug for Igloo Replacement by Samuel Naidu

I bought this to add drain plugs on several coolers that don't have a drain plug. I would have preferred a smaller drain plug, but if you drill a radiator without the previous bolt, you end up with thick insulation that requires a longer drain plug. Radiators that have a drain plug are squeezed where it belongs so the bolt is flush with the rest of the radiator (the bolt doesn't protrude so it won't break). This connector worked great, but I had to modify the connector a bit. Also, it is longer than necessary and there is no exact hole saw for the diameter of this plug. I used a 1-1/8" hole saw (purchased from ACE) to drill an oversized hole (the smaller size was too small). I cut out a piece of PVC that was slightly wider in diameter than the section .if there is a drain plug that slides through the hole and then i used this pvc to attach it to the outside of the radiator between the plug and the radiator the plug is too long and a bit loose but the pvc section solved both problems.I also used silicone caulk to give the cork a good seal before putting the gasket back in.
