Last year I decided to try different brands of needles. I only ever used what was cheaper at the local craft store. I thought it was just needles, what's the difference? SO BIG DIFFERENCE! It was the first good brand I tried and after a few stitches I completely gave up the idea that all needles are the same. The yarn glides easily over the needles. The connections are smooth, the stitches don't catch on the needles and the long pointed tips get stuck in the stitches so easily. I've tried a few brands now and this is still my favorite. I mainly knit socks and shawls with fine yarn. I will say that these needles are very slippery and I occasionally lose stitches if I'm not careful. Overall though, it's worth the occasional need to patch the Boo-Boo for how much fun they are to knit, as I really enjoy being able to move the stitches around easily. I also really like the cables. This is a steel cable (?) that is tightly encased in plastic. They're pretty flexible, I've done two socks at a time using the magic loop method on a 32" cord with no problems, but they have no memory so never try to curl up. I think if you like slippery needles, quick knitting and/or lace knitting etc that requires multiple stitches this is worth a try!
