Review on Portable AWOW Computer: Ultra Slim 15.6" HD, Full HD 1920X1080P Display for On-the-Go Productivity by Robert Perry

I don't regret buying something better

My screen worked fine when I first got it and I used it quite a bit when I was traveling. Small size, thin bezels, good speakers (considering how thin it is), decent brightness. Nothing out of the ordinary, just normal. The glossy screen is a fingerprint magnet. However, after less than a year of use, the top 1/3 of the screen shows 3 relatively thick "double" lines occupying 80% of the screen width. These lines do not appear when the screen is off, but flicker when input is made. I've tried multiple devices via both HDMI and USB-C with no change. Definitely a problem with the panel. I don't think my screen will last much longer and I doubt the seller would be willing to replace or repair it for themselves or anyone judging by its noise. I would use it until it dies, but the flickering is too annoying to ignore right now. I would like to say that I will not buy this particular model again. I don't think it's worth $160, especially if it only lasts a year or less. Now it's like e-waste that I'm responsible for disposing of. Oh yes, when I connect it to my laptop, the display name is "DO NOT USE - RTK 15". Ha, an omen. Next time I'll spend the extra money on a higher quality product from a better manufacturer.
